We live in depressing times, global meltdown is no longer a speculation, it has become a reality. i wonder if every one of us is equally aware of the irony that fate has in store for us through this double entendre.The phrase "global meltdown" as used lately in the media refers to the current global financial crisis but it should not be forgotten that the phrase is equally potent when used in the context of global warming. Yet another irony of the situations involves the role of fuel,especially fossil fuel, a rise in price of which accelerates inflation and lower prices, more consumption, further damage the environment. Anyway, uncommon times call for uncommon initiations.Cost cutting measures are being implemented by most corporate as well as private citizens but there are always some people who can look beyond the mundane and bring out something of value from things which the rest of us won't bother to think about.
